Santa Barbara Courthouse

Yesterday (after sunbathing for a little while) I walked up State Street in Santa Barbara (whilst definitely looking in some of the shops and the little boutique ones) and arrived at the Courthouse.

This courthouse is a bit like the ones in the UK where you can go in and wander around except there aren’t any checks on the door here – you literally just walk in!

You can’t go into any of the courts though.  There are so many visitors just walking around taking photos as the Courthouse has a famous Clock Tower (sadly this was shut for repairs yesterday but I have heard the 360 views are spectacular) and also is full of art, murals, and lovely gardens!

So whilst inside I took some photos on my phone and also my camera (and I will try and upload a few from my phone this week – and do a better post when I am home with some camera photos!).

I had a brilliant few hours just walking around,  checking out the venue but also looking in the library and legal resource centre!

Will share more with you about this soon!
