So as you know last Thursday on arriving in LA I made my way over to the Pursuit of Justice Awards at the Millenium Biltimore Hotel.
I didn’t really know what to expect, I was quite nervous but also really excited.
It was located at the most amazing hotel (and a completely different style to the one I was staying in for my holiday) so it was nice to experience both.
You turned up and were directed to the Gold Room were you signed in outside and collected a name badge. Then you went in and found your table.
Lunch was provided, bread rolls and salad to start (and they pour the dressing on after you sit down so luckily I could eat mine as I didn’t want dressing!). I do have a confession to make – that was the started but I thought that was lunch and the desserts were on the table aready so after seeing other people tuck in I ate my amazing chocolate cake! Then the main courses arrived… Whoops! That was another amazing course, chicken, vegetables and rice.
I am going to write a blog post about the event and what it was all about and why this event is held, as well as photos of the hotel and event.
So keep an eye out for that.
