Rising Star Law Award | Shortlisted

So I have been shortlisted for a Rising Star Law Award. Whilst I am sure I won’t win, I would love your vote. If you just want to vote then click here, select “law” in the drop down and then my name, Rebecca Morgan.

Rising Star Law Award

The Rising Star Awards (something I had not really heard about before) acknowledge people who they deem are doing amazing things in their sector.  I am named alongside some remarkable women in the legal sector (which is an honour in itself).  Please check out everyone that has been nominated in the legal shortlist here.

Sponsoring the law award is Reed Smith LLP, and it is in memory of the remarkable Lynne Freeman.

I still can’t quite believe it. Not only have I been nominated by someone, but I have been shortlisted by a panel of judges.

The process of the Rising Star Law Award

So as mentioned above, I had never heard of the Rising Star Awards.  I had however heard of We Are The City and the work that they do.

Quite few months ago I received an email from We Are The City/Rising Star saying someone had nominated me for an award in the legal sector.  I filled out a form with some more information and had to wait to see if the judges would shortlist me.

As always I never expect to be shortlisted, and I am still shocked someone has taken the time to nominate me. Then on Monday, I was walking around The Justice Museum in Nottingham (being a law geek) and my phone notifications went crazy.

It was via twitter that I realised I had been shortlisted for the law awards.  There is a public vote for some of it and I would appreciate your support.

Vote for me in the Rising Star Law Award

If you would like to vote for me (before the 9th June 2017) then follow these simple instructions.  Click this link, fill in your details, select law from the dropdown and then my name, Rebecca Morgan.

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support with my blog, but also the votes for these awards. I never expect to win these things, but really appreciate you voting for me.  Please do share with friends and family, or on social media.

Rebecca x
