As promised I thought I would update you on the shortlist for the 10 finalists in each category of the UK Blog Awards 2015 which was released today.
When I read the email this morning I was so surprised to see my name in the shortlist for both categories that I had been collecting votes on. I still don’t think it has quite sunk in yet.
The results are announced at an event next April so I will definitely keep you posted.
Thank you so so much to everyone that voted – I am really shocked to have been shortlisted as a finalist and it all feels a little strange but really exciting as well.
I really do appreciate the fact that so many of you voted for my blog, it really means a lot to me, but most importantly I just really love the fact that so many of you read the posts I upload as well as recommend my Blog and share it with other people that might be interested.
I am going to continue blogging (as I really enjoy it!) and hope that you enjoy reading my posts. Being shortlisted is something I never even dreamed about when I set up my blog (I didn’t even know Blog Awards existed!) but that isn’t going to change my blog and what it is all about. My blog has never been about winning awards and it will stay that way. It is just nice to be recognised as a blogger in something which is quite a niche area, but my blog is still going to have the same types of posts as when I first started blogging!
