Summer Offer | Virtual Law Work Experience Programme

As you may have guessed from the blog post title, it is Summer Offer time!

There has been a lot of interest in my Virtual Law Work Experience Programme which I am so excited about and you can see the initial email  I sent around here as well as the blog post all about it.

I mentioned in the email and the programme information that the programme runs all year and there may be offers going up throughout the year with money off codes.  Well today is offer time!

Summer Offer

SPECIAL OFFER VIRTUAL LAW WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME £100

summer offer

Instead of the price being £250 for the programme, I am offering a summer discount, taking the price down to £100 per person! That is a saving of £150.  This is the cheapest offer I am going to be running on the programme ever.  Plus this programme is considerably cheaper than the one I paid for.

The reason I am putting this offer out there is because I know a couple of people have got in touch saying they would like to undertake the programme but couldn’t afford to at the moment, but it was the ideal time whilst they were on holiday.

The programme

As you are aware I have created the Virtual Law Work Experience Programme to cover the whole of the United States (rather than just New York which is where I undertook mine with the company that no longer exists).  I am hoping to expand this programme and potentially branch out to other countries as the year goes on.

Part of the programme enables you to write some content for law firms all over the United States on various legal topics, benefitting them but also giving you exposure to new areas of law, developing your research and writing skills as well as making some great connections.

There are 6 written tasks for law firms and then a final piece, none of the work is overly time consuming and you can either undertake the 6 written tasks in 6 or 12 weeks.  It won’t interfere heavily with your studies and if needs be you can always start and put a hold on tasks if you get too busy.

more information

Don’t forget that you can email me if you have any questions on the programme, the types of work you would be doing, a more in-depth breakdown of the skills you will be gaining or developing or any other questions you have.

I had the best time when I undertook the programme a few years ago, and because I gained so much from doing it, plus I always get asked about it in interviews, so when I realised the company I was telling you to go and look at didn’t exist anymore, I created my own programme.

Virtual Law Work Experience Programme – email

There has been a lot of interest in my Virtual Law Work Experience Programme which I am so excited about.  I sent around an email this week which you can check out here.

Plus I will be sharing discount codes for the work experience programme on there too!

Where in the world you would like to undertake some work experience from (from the comfort of your own home)?

Uniqlo | Women Ultra Light Down Jacket

So you may all be wondering why I am sharing with you a link to a jacket, but a lot of you have asked me where my jacket was from that I took to San Francisco last summer… and it was from Uniqlo.  You can check it out here.

I was looking for a small jacket that would fold away nicely in my bag in case it was slightly chillier in San Francisco but I didn’t want a bulky coat as I was heading to Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas after!  As it turns out this jacket is amazing, I have the blue one, and it was great when on the boat trips in San Francisco and visiting Alcatraz!

San Francisco wasn’t overly cold, and I found it to be quite sunny and warm but it was windy at times and a coat was definitely needed.

This coat was recommended to me by Monica from The Travel Hack and it was definitely a great buy! I even wear it in London and it has also become a staple for being left in the car for spring/summer/autumn times!  It is perfect for city breaks too!

It keeps you nice and warm and it has a high neck – and it folds away nicely! Plus it looks good with jeans and is a great extra layer for a plane ride!  Here are a couple of photos of it:

I highly recommend it!

As you all know I absolutely loved the Virtual New York Law Work Experience I undertook quite a few years ago.  So many of you regularly ask me about it, but sadly the company that ran it does not exist anymore, so I decided to create a programme for you.  This programme is not limited to New York it covers the whole of the US and I really hope you enjoy it.

I am looking to potentially expand this further over the coming months and years to offer other countries as well.

So if you are a law student anywhere in the world, and have a high level of written english then get involved.

Check out the Information Pack by clicking on this link Virtual Law Work Experience – Info Pack

There is a fee with this programme, it covers the Skype calls and training I will give us as well as the overall facilitation of the programme.  There was a fee when I undertook the programme, but I have made it around £200 cheaper.

If you would like to ask me any more questions then send me an email with the heading: Virtual Law Work Experience Programme.

Lots of you seem keen already and I really hope you enjoy the programme and take away a lot from it.  You will learn and develop skills, and connect with some amazing US firms.  There are already a lot of firms on board so if you do want to sign up then we can get you started as soon as you are ready.

If the fee is potentially a problem, I will take instalments in some circumstances.

I look forward to helping you with this programme, working alongside you as well as helping you create some great content in different areas of law and in a different jurisdiction.

I hope you will find it lots of fun!

American Bar Association member!

So two weeks ago I became a member of the American Bar Association, and with that I get lots of emails on various areas of law in relation to seminars, webinars, conferences and news updates.

I am interested in American law and you may remember that I undertook a virtual New York work experience programme a few years ago and also had Amicus Training.  Plus the New York Bar has been on my radar for a little while, as well as branching out with that.

I do really like America, and have been fortunate to make friends with some amazing American lawyers over social media and events I have been too!

I am looking forward to seeing what the ABA has to offer, and hopefully broadening my skills and knowledge – as certain aspects of the American legal system do intrigue/frustrate me!

Check the website out here – they have lots of events, great training and resources.  I did subscribe to their emails before, but I am now a proper member.

Let me know if you are a member too!
