Can I download this book anywhere in the world?

The ebook is available to be downloaded wherever you are based in the world..  The content in this ebook is written in English and is suitable for law students and aspiring law students

How do I open and read this ebook?

Most devices will be able to open this publication, through the various ‘reader’ options on your phone/tablet/laptop.

What do I do if I can’t find my download?

The ebook will load automatically once you have purchased it.  It should open in your reader app.

If however, you have successfully purchased and downloaded the ebook, but can’t find your download, try looking in these places:

– iPhone / iPad / Mac : Open the iBooks app and the ebook should be visible in the viewing panel.
– Android phone / tablet: Go to the ‘downloads’ folder.
– Desktop / Laptop / Mac: Go to the downloads folder, this should be the top one on the list.  If not, sort by date (with the most recent at the top) and you should be able to see it.

If you are still unable to find your copy of the ebook, please email us and we will respond within two working days.  Emails should be sent to: Rebecca@lawyerinthemaking.co.uk and mark the subject header ‘Ebook Support’.

I am having issues with the download?

If you have any issues with the download, please contact us by email  Rebecca@lawyerinthemaking.co.uk  with the subject ‘Ebook Support’ and outline the issues you are having.
We aim to respond to all ebook related queries within two working days.

Can I print this ebook?

The ebook is interactive and is better being read through your phone/tablet/laptop reader.  It contains clickable links to various resources and videos.  However, you can print a copy if you wish, but remember it is a large file and contains a lot of colour.

Can I share this ebook with my friends?

 

Yes, of course you can share the website link with them so they can purchase a copy of the ebook.  Please, however, do not share the download with your friends.  The ebook is there to be purchased and legal action may be taken if you are sharing copies.

I think I put the wrong email address down?

If, during the checkout process, you realise you have entered the wrong email address, just contact us on Rebecca@lawyerinthemaking.co.uk  with the subject ‘Ebook Support’.  Within two working days, we will provide you with confirmation that we have updated your email address on our system.

You will still have received the download at the end of the payment process – so there shouldn’t be a delay in you reading A brief guide to being a law student.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes, when you have successfully purchased the ebook, the payment platform we use to process payments, Stripe, will send you a receipt.

Do you offer a refund?

Sadly, due to the nature of the product it is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

Waiving your right to cancel: If you download a product within 14 days of purchasing it, you waive your right to cancel the order of that product and therefore waive your right to a refund.  However, please note that due to the nature of the product and how it is set up, a copy of the ebook is made available to you from the point of purchase.

How do I cancel my order?

If you download a product within 14 days of purchasing it, you waive your right to cancel the order of that product and get a refund.

If you want to exercise your right of cancellation you must inform us, by contacting us at Rebecca@lawyerinthemaking.co.uk with the subject header: Ebook Cancellation.  We will subsequently liaise with you to ascertain if this cancellation can be accepted, however please note that the ebook is made available from the point of purchase and will open up on your device.

What happens if I cancel my order?

We will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods purchased no later than 14 days from the day on which we received a valid notice of cancellation as set out above. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received evidence of you no longer having access to a copy of the ebook.  Due to the nature of this product and it being a download, which you receive from the point of payment, we will need confirmation that you no longer store a copy of it.

 What are my rights if a product is defective or damaged?

We work hard to ensure that all products ordered from this website reach you in the condition. However, if they are any problems with you accessing the information in the ebook please contact us at Rebecca@lawyerinthemaking.co.uk, with the subject ‘ebook support’ and we can discuss your rights of replacement, repair or refund.  We will respond to all emails received within two working days.
