{"id":66,"date":"2013-01-12T12:03:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-12T12:03:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/missrebeccaalice.wordpress.com\/?p=66"},"modified":"2013-01-12T12:03:28","modified_gmt":"2013-01-12T12:03:28","slug":"new-york-based-work-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lawyerinthemaking.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/01\/12\/new-york-based-work-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"New York based work experience!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">Spring 2013 will see me \u00a0embarking on quite an exciting but unusual opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">I will be undertaking a 3 month work placement with a variety of solicitors, barristers and judges in New York.. however I will be doing this all from the comfort of my own home!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">Thanks to the wonderful world of Skype and email I will be able to learn new legislation, undertake work, be assessed, draft important documentation and build contacts without even leaving the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">I will be covering a variety of different legal topics, and I felt that this opportunity was far too good to turn down.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">As part of the programme I will be in regular contact with an attorney who will be assessing my work but also providing me with a wealth of opportunities, improving my legal skills and also enabling me to develop my legal knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">I am already excited and will keep you all posted on how things go and will try and do a weekly blog updating you on my work and the assessments that I am doing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">Roll on February!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#800080;\">rebecca x<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Spring 2013 will see me \u00a0embarking on quite an exciting but unusual opportunity.
