Absolutely. It is a great way to engage with your students, prospective students, lawyers, legal companies and the local area.\u00a0 You also get to engage with students\/lawyers\/academics.<\/p>\n<p>It is great for building a community and getting involved in legal news etc.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">What are Instagram Stories?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>They are photos, images, words, texts, polls, videos that only stick around for 24 hours and feature on your &#8216;story&#8217;! Originally, after 24 hours these &#8216;stories&#8217; would disappear.\u00a0 However, Instagram have now introduced a feature called Highlights.<\/p>\n<p>In &#8216;Highlights&#8217; you can save your stories so they appear under categories that you have chosen and will sit under your bio on Instagram (above your usual posts) for people to view whenever they like.\u00a0 They are accessible 24\/7 and you can add new stories to them, or remove them.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Without further ado, here are 9 things you can share on your Instagram stories:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0tour\u00a0of\u00a0your\u00a0law\u00a0school<\/li>\n<li>Snippets\u00a0of\u00a0a\u00a0law\u00a0event\u00a0you\u00a0are\u00a0running<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0law\u00a0school\u00a0debate<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0student\u00a0take-over\u00a0day<\/li>\n<li>Student\/academic\u00a0staff\u00a0opinions\u00a0on\u00a0a\u00a0legal\u00a0topic<\/li>\n<li>Things\u00a0to\u00a0do\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0local\u00a0area<\/li>\n<li>Law\u00a0school\u00a0news<\/li>\n<li>Polls\/quizzes\u00a0on\u00a0legal\u00a0topics\u00a0or\u00a0your\u00a0law\u00a0school<\/li>\n<li>Historical\u00a0facts\u00a0about\u00a0your\u00a0law\u00a0school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Here are 2 law school Instagram Stories that I love:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/bostonuniversityschooloflaw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston Uni Law<\/a> &#8211; they do &#8216;a day in the life of&#8217; with their students which is amazing to watch &#8211; plus maybe I am little bit biased but I love their content and I had the best time when I spent a day at their law school!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/leidenlaw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leiden Law School<\/a> &#8211; use stories and subsequently highlights so so well!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/bostonu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boston Uni <\/a>&#8211; do a weekly quiz using the poll functions and this is a great way to engage with students.
