{"id":178,"date":"2013-12-24T21:44:55","date_gmt":"2013-12-24T21:44:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/missrebeccaalice.wordpress.com\/?p=178"},"modified":"2014-02-11T15:11:30","modified_gmt":"2014-02-11T15:11:30","slug":"christmas-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lawyerinthemaking.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/12\/24\/christmas-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So this time last year I was setting up my blog, and I honestly cannot believe how quickly this year has gone!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Whilst I had the best intentions of blogging every week, time got the better of me with work and University, so I am definitely going to try harder next year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This year I have been lucky enough to be part of so many exciting legal\u00a0things:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; Two amazing legal jobs, and the latter of the two being Eversheds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; I helped found the University of Hertfordshire Student Bar Society<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; I have helped at lots of legal extra-curricular events, which has also helped my legal knowledge and skills<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; I have had a number of legal articles published on line &#8211; and cannot wait to see what the New Year brings in terms of writing<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211;\u00a0I have also been fortunate enough to have a little bit of my work published in a book &#8211; and this has definitely given me the writing bug!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; I have undertaken an amazing Virtual Internship in New York, I have made plenty of contacts in America and it has confirmed that potentially working abroad would be something of interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I am sure there are lots more things which I have forgotten, but for now I would like to say a massive Thank You to everyone that reads these blog posts, and sends me emails, comments and also for\u00a0people&#8217;s support!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Through this blog and twitter I have been fortunate enough to network with some amazing people, and these people challenge and encourage me, as well as be there for support and for quick questions!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I hope you all have a lovely Christmas!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">rebecca x<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So this time last year I was setting up my blog, and I honestly cannot believe how quickly this year has gone!
