So over the last few months I have been sharing bits and pieces on my ebook, A brief guide to being a law student, and more importantly what topics it covers.
I thought it would be easier to just upload the Contents page as that should help some of you. As I have mentioned previously, this ebook can be read from cover to cover but
At the start of the book I share 9 top tips to help you get in the lawyer mindset.
The Law School In The UK section looks at studying the LLB or GDL, and then post-graduate courses such as an LLM, PhD or even the BCL. Whilst this might not be application to some of you (those that are abroad) you may still find snippets of it useful, especially if you are considering studying in the UK. The same applies to the Career Routes section, this does follow more of a UK based career path in terms of law, but does cover topics such as “being a paralegal” etc.
The ebook can be purchased for £12.99 – and is applicable to students all over the world (there is only just a handful of references to those studying law in the UK, well specifically England and Wales) the rest is content beneficial to everyone.
As you will see I have tried to really help you when it comes to topics such as Advocacy, Work Experience, Social Media, CVs etc.
In the General Tips On Being A Law Student chapter, I talk about:
- Why it is okay to ask for help?
- Whether or not to do a dissertation?
- How to not annoy your fellow class mates in lectures and tutorials/seminars?
- and lots more.
I really hope you love reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it!
p.s. for a short time only there is a discount on my ebook and you can get it for the price of £7.99 instead of £12.99. To do so, click here and follow the instructions. This special offer closes on Sunday 10th December at 11:59pm GMT.
